HARARE – The current water shortages being experienced in Harare have been attributed to the ongoing upgrading of the Morton Jaffray Water Treatment Plant. Leslie Gwindi, Harare City Council spokesperson, said the shortages were a result of decommissioning of some pumps. “Some pumps were decommissioned under the ZimFund rehabilitation exercise,” Gwindi told the Daily News….
