No lessons learnt from 2008 cholera epidemic

Giving a cholera update at a media briefing in Harare yesterday, the Health ministry’s deputy cholera incident manager, Stephen Karimu, said the country was beginning to witness a positive trajectory in the cholera outbreak with cases of fatalities going down.

IN today’s edition we published a story to the effect that Zimbabwe has since the beginning of the year recorded one death from cholera, 17 confirmed and 159 suspected cases of the disease 128 people recovered from the disease.
