THE director of the department of livestock in the ministry of Agriculture Andrew Chamisa has urged farmers to insure their livestock to avoid losses during drought. This comes as President Emmerson Mnangagwa last week declared drought a national disaster adding that there is a need for US$2 billion to cover for all the human needs…

The council stated that any claims on the livestock must be made before the auction, with proof of ownership provided through the Zimbabwe Republic Police in liaison with the Veterinary Services Department.
